Ronald (Gorinchem, Netherlands) and Jenny (Oldham, United Kingdom) formed their partnership in 1999 and rose rapidly in the dance ranking charts during the next 18 months. As well as winning different championships, requests for demonstrations and exhibition performances came rapidly for this charismatic couple, giving them the opportunity to teach and compete all over the world.

We are fully qualified teachers with the IDTA & Allied Dancing Associations. We are also enhanced CRB Checked.

WEDDING DANCE

Wedding Dance:

You know it is going to be one of the most important days of your life - your wedding day. Yet many couples live in dread of the moment they have to get up in front of family and friends to do that 'First Dance'.

Imagine that fear being taken away completely and even to be positively looking forward to the moment when the MC invites you on to the floor?

Let us help you look really special!

Give us enough time, and we'll make you look like an expert.

Why Weddings Are One of Our Specialties?
Not so long ago, a couple's first dance as man and wife, as special as it was, was only a distant memory -- no small blessing for couples who happened to be poor dancers. But times have changed. Now, with home video, the newlyweds' first dance is almost always recorded, available down the years for everyone to see again….and again.

So, couples who want to give a polished and graceful performance on their big day are increasingly opting to take dance lessons to help prepare for what may be the performance of a lifetime.

Here are a few points to bear in mind that will make 'Your Dance' easier:
- Don't wait until the last minute. Remember that your schedule will get very hectic as your wedding day approaches. We recommend starting four to six months earlier to allow more time for practice, especially if you are a newcomer to dancing.

- Remember that dance lessons can actually be a stress reliever. Dancing is good exercise. And lessons pull you out of the hustle and bustle of the day to spend an hour or so with each other, having fun and working together productively at the same time.

- Besides the Waltz and other traditional dances, Salsa, Tango and the Rumba are all popular at weddings these days.

- If you want to dance to a special song at your reception, feel free to bring a recording of it to your dance lessons so you can work on it with us (And don't forget to coordinate with your wedding videographer to get the best "coverage" of your special dance!)

Learning to dance together for your wedding often turns into something far more special. Feeling confident and poised, that first dance together as wife and husband will be more than a memory. You will want to see it 'on screen' over and over again!

Social Dances:
Every Sunday you can now look forward to weekly dances in Oldham.Practise your latest routines and have a great night-out. The Social dance starts at 19.30 and closes at 22.00 Hours. Price for the evening is £4 per person. Under 16’s are welcome (as long as they are supervised by an adult). Dress code is smart/casual.

There will be no Social Dance on the following dates:
Sunday 25th May 2008
Sunday 22nd June 2008

ANY QUESTIONS?

F.A.Q.

How old do I have to be?
Everyone is welcome from 4 to 99! We have a mixed age-range in our adult classes. We have adult and youth classes throughout the Week.

Do I need a partner?
No! We have many singles - both male and female and we always try to find you a partner.

What shall I wear?
We recommend that you dress comforably and wear shoes with a smooth sole. We do not advise trainers, shoes with rubber soles, or shoes that may slip off your feet such as mules or flip flops.

Do I need to book?
No. Just turn up whenever you want to.

How big are the classes?
All of our classes are usually busy with a lively, fun atmosphere. We have plenty of teachers and assistants on hand so large numbers aren't a problem.

Is there a membership or joining fee?
NO! Just turn up and pay as you go!

When can I start?
Our classes usually start in January, April, September and November but you can join at anytime throughout the year.

I am going on holiday so I will miss a few classes can I catch up?
Yes! If you feel you would like to catch up we offer private lessons.
You can share this lesson with another couples to keep your costs down!

Where can I dance?

Frequently throughout the year we organise Events, 'DWTS Events' and Social Dances for you to attend. We also arrange once a year a Christmas Dance.Please see our Social Events link (page 07)on the main site.

Do you close for the Holidays?
Yes and No! We close in for all Bank Holidays (Jagers 'Manchester & Salford is open), but are open throughout the school holidays. The dance classes are closed over Christmas but the private lessons stay open.

I'm getting married can you help with our special dance?
Yes! We can help you find that special song and teach you a dance for your special day. Please see our Wedding Dances link (page 05)on the main site.

Do you sell Gift Vouchers?
Yes! We sell gift vouchers for any amount - they can either be used at our dance classes or for private lessons. Please contact us with your requirements.
